A ridge of high pressure north of the area will gradually weaken and shift southeast over the next several days. This will cause the easterly trade winds to weaken and veer from a southeast direction. A large northwest swell will move into the region on Wednesday. A front will approach the state over the weekend with an extra large northwest swell filling in from Saturday night into Sunday.
