FZHW50 PHFO 301320 CWFHFO Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Honolulu HI 319 AM HST Sun Nov 30 2025 Hawaiian coastal waters within 40 nautical miles including the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. 319 AM HST Sun Nov 30 2025 .Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters... A ridge of high pressure will dominate over or just north of the Hawaiian Islands into early this week. A cold front will approach the western islands on Wednesday, but may weaken to a trough and retreat back westward before having much effect on the local weather. By late this week into next weekend, strengthening surface high pressure northeast of the islands will bring a return of easterly trades. An extra large northwest swell will peak this morning across the Hawaiian waters, then slowly decline through Monday. This swell will bring seas above Small Craft Advisory levels for exposed waters.
