A surface ridge will drift down the island chain tonight, causing gentle to moderate easterly winds to veer out of the south. Moderate south to southwest winds will become fresh to strong Sunday night and Monday as a front approaches. The front will move down the island chain Monday night and Tuesday. Northwest winds behind the front will diminish and shift out of the east on Wednesday, followed by a return to southerly winds Thursday. Another large northwest swell is due Tuesday and Wednesday.
