At 200 PM, a 1020 mb high was over the central Utah and a 1013 mb low was off the coast of Point Conception. Strong northwest winds pick up Wednesday afternoon, peaking overnight Wednesday overnight into Thursday morning with winds sustained at 15-20 kts and gusts up to 25 kts. Elevated northwesterly flow persists into Thursday afternoon, with offshore flow developing late Thursday into Friday. Offshore flow persists into the weekend.
