At 2 AM, a 1019 mb high was 400 nautical miles west of Punta Eugenia, Mexico, and a 1014 mb low extended from Thermal south to the northern Gulf of California. Weak onshore flow will continue through Thursday. A storm system will approach Friday and move through Saturday, boosting southerly winds and seas. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Friday afternoon through Saturday. Weaker onshore flow will return Saturday night and Sunday.
