At 130 PM, a 1020 mb high was draped across central and the southern California coast and a 995 mb low was over the Great Salt Lake and southwestern Wyoming. Gusty winds continue over the local waters, generating hazardous conditions for small craft, before decreasing this evening. Thursday, strong winds will redevelop in the late morning, likely producing hazardous conditions again. Conditions will improve Friday and Saturday.
