At 2 PM, a 1017 mb high was 100 nautical miles southwest of San Diego, and a 1012 mb low was over Las Vegas. A 992 mb low was 100 nautical miles west of Eureka, CA. Steady onshore flow will continue tonight, switching more southerly on Friday. A storm system will approach Friday and move through Saturday, boosting winds and seas. Winds may approach 30 knots late Saturday morning and into Saturday evening with increasing rain chances. Occasional heavy rain could reduce visibility. There is a chance for thunderstorms Friday night through Saturday night, with further information in the Marine Weather Statement. Weaker onshore flow will return Saturday night and Sunday, before strengthening again Monday.
