At 1 PM, a 1042 mb high was over southwest Colorado and a 1018 mb low was over Punta Eugenia, Baja California. Northwesterly flow over the water becomes offshore overnight, followed by south- southwesterly winds setting up for Thursday into Friday. The typical pattern of onshore flow in the afternoons and evenings and weak offshore flow during the nights and mornings will return for the weekend. A building westerly swell on Friday may bring seas of 7-9 feet in the outer waters near/around San Clemente Island.
