At 1 PM, a 1024 mb high was over the Great Salt Lake and another 1024 mb high was 500 nautical miles west of Monterey. A 1006 mb low covered southeast Arizona. Onshore flow will become brisk this afternoon and evening. Relatively neutral flow will bring light and variable winds tonight into Saturday, with onshore flow returning later Saturday. Onshore flow will prevail Sunday through Wednesday, increasing for Tuesday night and Wednesday.
