A cold front will bring strong northerly winds and elevated rough seas around Kauai and Oahu early this morning. The front and its associated winds will steadily weaken as advances to Maui County later today and stalls out over this area tonight. High pressure will gradually build north of the area Thursday into Friday, bringing moderate easterly trade winds. Another front will approach during the weekend, causing winds to shift out of the southeast and south.
