Surface high pressure far north of the islands will maintain fresh to locally strong trade winds into Thursday. A surface ridge will be pushed to near Kauai on Friday as a front approaches from the northwest, leading to decreased winds. The front will stall northwest of Kauai Saturday and Sunday.
