A surface ridge near Kauai will continue to bring gentle to moderate southeast to south winds over the waters near the smaller islands, and locally fresh east to southeast winds to the waters near the Big Island. The ridge will retreat to the north Monday, allowing east to southeast winds to develop across the island chain.
