Light to locally moderate east to southeast winds will slowly strengthen to moderate speeds and veer south by Thursday as a ridge builds northeast of the state and a low develops west of the state. Friday through the weekend, the low will shift northeast of the state allowing moderate south southwest winds to become light and variable by Sunday. A strong high will build behind the exiting low with moderate to locally strong trades returning during the first half of next week.
