A weak area of high pressure will remain north of the Hawaii region this evening, producing gentle to moderate easterly winds. Winds will decrease and veer southeasterly on Tuesday, then southwesterly on Wednesday as a cold front moves into the region from the northwest. This front is expected to move into the western Hawaiian islands late Wednesday into Thursday, then dissipate by Friday.
