Meanwhile, a 1032 mb surface high was located about 1225 NM west of Point Conception and extending to a 1018 mb ridge over northern California. This ridge will build into the Western States through Friday and displace the surface low over the offshore waters. Marine conditions will deteriorate through Thursday with moderate to strong northerly flow developing and seas building to hazardous level across the northern and outer waters.
