At 200 AM, a 1020 mb high was over the Central Valley of California and a 1013 mb low was over the California Bight. Gusty northwest winds pick up tonight, peaking late Thursday morning into early Thursday afternoon. Widespread winds sustained at 15-20 kts with gusts 25-30 kts in the outer waters and near San Clemente Island. Locally steep seas of 8-11 feet possible in the outer waters tonight through Thursday afternoon as well. Winds weaken Thursday evening with offshore flow developing late Thursday into Friday. North to northeasterly flow persists through the weekend.
